My DD gets a bottle of EBM at 6pm for her evening feed. I've been very lucky and she sleeps through until around 7am when she has her next feed. For the last month or so she's been having about 280ml but always seems like she'd take more if we offered it. Problem is that she just spills all that precious milk if she overfeeds. So I don't know whether to give her more or not.

Anyhow, what I'm curious about is how much do you give your little'uns in the evening?

I would say 280mls is plenty! My boy was having about 180mls of EBM at that age.

Jake was lucky to even finish 180ml at that age.. though in saying that he never had a big appetite (always drank less than ne "should" for his age) and was still feeding through the night... Oh and I am looking at actual age not adjusted age....

If she spills if she has more than either she either has wind or had had enough...

Is she having solids yet? If she is having dinner AND 280ml then I would think thats enough but if she is still on purely on milk then maybe you could offer her a little more after bath? But to be honest, if she is sleeping through I think she is fine!

Yeah I know it seems like a lot for her age and size (6.5kg). Honestly the bottle looks like the size of her entire abdomen! The others in my Due In forum say it's a lot too, so that's why I was wondering. Once she learned to feed she certainly hasn't looked back.

Generally she still feeds 3 hourly during the day so 4 feeds. Although sometimes it's more and sometimes it's less because I mostly demand feed.
