Morning all
I got up this morning and went to the bathroom (as you do) and noticed some dark discharge (kind of the stuff you get before you get your period - sorry TMI I know!)
Wasnt too worried and went to the gym for a light cardio session, there was a bit more darkish discharge after this - is this normal? Im 5 weeks today - I've read in books that you can get this sort of stuff while your body adjusts BUT to be worried if its bright red blood and it doesnt stop
what should I do??? Im probably worrying over nothing.........

You can get spotting around the time that your next Af would have occurred, if your worried talk to your MW of GP.

Always let your lmc know of any spotting and they will advise you further, it is quite common though

Firststork, thats good you went to your mw, always pays to check! I had the exact same thing when pg with Clodagh except it lasted on and off right up to 10 weeks...esp after exercise.  It was really disconcerting adn we never did find out what it was. I just tried to put my feet up as much as possible....not that that probably did anything but it did help my peace of mind!
