it depends on your cycle length, mine have been ranging from 25 to 32 days, so i start on CD13/14 until I get a +ve, then the next day to make sure its going back to -ve

Depends how long your cycle is......My cycles are 25 - 26 days and I start CD9 and usually get a +ve on CD10. I use about 2 or 3 OPK's per cycle as I know I OV then.

First time using them you may use more than 5 tests
TTC for 4 1/2 years
IVF #1 - April 2012 short BFP, no frosties
IVF #2 - August 2012, BFP!! 3 frosties!

I normally start at CD10 and then stop the day after I get a positive (normally around CD12-13) but then my cycle can be as short as 26 days.

Depends on your cycle, like the others have said. For a starting point try taking your first test about 15/16 days before your period is due. You might need to use a few more than normal in the first cycle to get it all worked out.
