It's usually around 28w unless you've previously had GD, or have a family history of it, I thought? I just had another polycose one this afternoon which is the standard one, but had one earlier on because of my family history of diabetes and GD.
Ok, it must just be me getting ahead of things. You know how it goes, something stuck in my mind and wham thats the deal (nevermind that I might actually be wrong!)
You don't have to have this done, if the pee tests are fine etc, I chose not to as it is a large amount of sugar to take and can be inconclusive anyway. Dr.Sarah J Buckley has a great book gentle birth, gentle mothering it has all the risks/benefits of all the tests.
