I would be interested in knowing as well.

If it were true I would argue how and why because if it were really that bad surely there would be more available information about it and we'd be advised not to use them??

I used my laptop often during my pregnancy also, the only thing I noticed was that it would get a bit warm if I used it for ages..

Did try and avoid standing in front of the microwave while it was cooking though, heard that it could be harmful but not sure how true it is..

I guess I prob wouldn't for long periods - it is not actually that good for the laptop to be moved around lots anyways, better to have it on a firm surface my husband just told me as my laptop has stoped working! Luckily I am married to a computer guru!

I don't think they would be too great to have on bellys but I prop mine on my belly with a nice thick cushion between laptop and my stomach.

Its the whole 'we don't know what kind of risks it might cause down the track' argument so it might be fine it might not its up to you to take the risk. The chances of something happening are most likely very slim but theres no real evidence either way.
