Hi, abit unsure on this one -   I have Veet leave on formula to get rid of hair then its wipe away - just wanted to know whether veet, nair etc are safe to use while pregnant?

I'm pretty sure in one of my books it said waxing/blleching ok but creams are not. I think it also said that this was because there have not been enough studies on it. The book I read this in is about 5-6 years old so there may be more recent things.

i was unsure of that too for my first pregs and decided to stay away as to me it had alot of chemicals in it to soak into skin(afterall it removes hair) so my personal choice was to stay away adn i used wax instead................that and the small of the creams got to me hard out.

I would just give the manufacturer (or their NZ agent) a call and check if you already have it at home. I have done this a few times with products and they have been really good
