Hi there,
Just thought I'd give a quick update, for those who have been looking at my chart.
I currently have a 6 day luteal phase (should be min 10 days) and after a quick google search :). I made an appointment with the doctor.
I really like my doc but was a bit surprised about how little he new about charting. When we've chatted in the past about pregnancy, he's always been very knowledgeable, so it surprised be. That said, he didn't fob me off. He said he wanted a few days to look a few things up (consult with Dr Google me thinks LOL) and he'd get back to me. He was super impressed with the charts I'd printed off from FF :-)
Sooooooo he's given me some Provera tablets (progesterone) and advised to start taking on the day of ovulation and continue for 12 days and that should give implantation a chance.
I don't mean to alarm anyone, but having checked the CMI for Provera, underneath the heading "before you take provera" it says "Do not take Provera if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant."
Obviously the doctor knows what he's talking about, but just thought i'd put it out there for thinking about?!
i have a short luteal phase also, so looking for hints & tips... that's why i was looking up the Provera....
I should probably note that i'm not just trying to spread worry!
