Hi, I am new to all of this... I just bought a BBT thermometer to start charting.

I know you need to test at the same time each day as soon as you wake up and after 3 hours solid sleep.

Is there anything else to be aware of that can affect the result?

Sleeping with your mouth open - can create lower temps or rocky ones. Ummmm...I can't think what else....one of the other girls here will be able to help!

There's a thread called the baiscs of charting or something similar - it's pinned near the top of the list of threads, might pay to read that then come join us in the charting thread if you have any more queries.
