I woke up this morning with my first ever case of what I assume is athletes foot. So gross and have no idea where I could have got it from as I am hygiene concious and don't walk around in bare feet out of my house.
Google isn't helping much and I was wondering if Lamisil is safe to use as it has hydrochortosone in it.
Or if anyone knows of anything safer? This itching is driving me insane and it feels so icky!!!
Hi I had athletes foot and the only thing the pharmacy said I could use was one of the canesten ones. I had used daktarin in the past but they said nope to that one. Even the canesten one wasn't safe in the first trimester if I remember correctly (not that you need to worry about that).
Do you have a pharmacy that is open today that you could go and talk to?
I get athletes foot really easily, when I had it in my first trimester almost nothing was safe for me to use so I didn't use anything. It goes away pretty quickly if you dry your feet every time you have a shower (in between all the toes) and try and air your feet out as much as possible.
I just make sure I dry my feet well after each shower and it hasn't come back since I got it in the first trimester. Good luck!
