Hey, I have been having symptoms etc for early pregnancy, went to doc for tsts but not got results. This morning I woke up feeling nauseaus and though cool my AF has gone again.. It started as slight slight brown blood yesterday.

I went to the toliet to confirm it was gone and as soon as I went to urinate and big gush of dark red blood came gushing out.. I was so shocked. Thought I had been #2 without knowing it.if you know what I mean..

Getting very very nauseated and have stomach cramps.. Still beedinglike a heavy period with small clots. Could this be an early miscarriage or just my period that has built up and been blocked for a week.. that how late it was.. Do I need to go to the docs or just wait to see what happens??

If you are concerned in any way, definitely go to the doctors. It's hard to say if it could be a m/c or not, I'm sorry!!

ETA: when you're lying in bed, AF can "pool" in your uterus/cervix area and when you get up, it can come out. That's just a gravity thing though.

I agree- if you're worried, go to your Dr. When I miscarried, the pain was pretty intense, the cramps were more like contractions and the blood flow was very heavy and clotty (sorry if TMI). I was 5 weeks pg last time, so not that far along but still I was surpirsed at how much it hurt and how heavy the bleeding was.

Hope you're ok ((hugs))

My MC (at about 5weeks) was lighter than the AF I had the month before which was full on, heavy clotty and crampy so it could be either really.   best to think of it as AF.

I don't have much med advice... though I would tend towards going to the doc and seeing what they say. If was MC then there might be followup med things that need to happen.

I MC in May and not all of it had come out - ended up ok for me, but can potentially cause infection. Plus I am RHNeg so needed a shot for that.

Big hugs!!!

Aww hugs hun!

When I was MCing I started with brown spotting which eventually over 10 days went to a dark red colour and a really thick/clotty texture. I needed a D&C as my cevix were still closed.
If you are concerned I agree with the others, you should get to a Dr or go to the Hospital.

My m/c was no different to a period really - just that I knew I was pregnant so knew it was a m/c and not a period.
You could ring Healthline to see what they suggest or go to an after hours place if you are worried

It sounded like a m/c to me - is there any chance that you might have m/c last month and are having a post-m/c clean-out?
