A friend of mine is a neonatal nurse and i'm pretty sure she said it was due to be finished in March. She said it's going to be fantastic

I know the move for the rest of the hospital is in mid march something like the 23rd, but not sure if womens services are moving sooner or not - I should pay more attenttion to internal emails at work

The 'twins' are due 28 March although I think twins go to 38 weeks so might be a couple of weeks earlier. So close to when the new wing opens but I suspect that we just miss out and will be at the old wing. Plus there are always delays. Thanks though, good to know

Oh well, I'll miss out, as I am having my baby a week before xmas via c-section. Would have been nice staying in the new hospital....

Well sorry ladies but I'm stoked!  I'm not pregnant yet and therefore it's bound to be finished by the time I'm ready to use it again.

TBH though I don't really remember what the old maternity ward looks like.  I was just totally smitten with the contents of the basinette beside me and couldn't care less about anything else.
