Topic: Pregnancy after c/s Posted: 06 June 2008 at 8:47am |
For those who have been pregnant after a c/s do you remember if your scar got itchy?
It's just one end of mine and its starting to drive me nuts.

Mine got sore and itchy, I have been rubbing bio oil into it so it is nice and supple, had no problems since i've been doing this.

No worries, good luck.

Forgot to add that it was mainly early on though, hasn't bothered me much just lately, up till about 15 or 16 weeks I think. (until today!)

My c-section scar has been pretty good actually - I was scared that it was going to cause me a lot of grief but so far so good. Have had a little bit of itchiness but nothing serious.

Occasionally mine has felt like it was pulling a little but I can't remember when and it wasn't that bad. I guess it makes sense with the stretching that goes on in pregnancy.

Mine has been a bit itchy too! I have been rubbing oil on it which helps a bit. I am quite aprehensive about this pregnancy after my last one was a C-Section I never want to go through that again so I am hoping that I can deliver normally this time!
