Hi, just wondering if anyone uses/used this for their newborn? i have just realised that whenever the vaccum cleaner is on my DD will go to sleep on her own in her bassinette.
Does anyone know whether you have to wean them off it later on, ie if it causes problems later on with being unable to settle without it?

We have used it and it was great for getting him to settle, we just turned the volume down over time until it wasn't there anymore so its really easy to wean off and he still slept at other houses without it etc.

We got it from the sleep store.. ummm I don't remember what it was called and Daniel is asleep at the mo so I can't go grab it. It was one of the heat beat. It ran for an hour roughly. But looking on their website they have "babys vaccuum cleaner cd" which might work well if she sleeps to the vacuum.

White noise was part of my sleep solution for Anyssa when she was about 12wks. We just downloaded some demos of white noise CDs off the internet and put it on repeat on the MPS player. We had no problems getting rid of the noise at about 5mths.

The heart beat one is great. We stopped using it at 3 months old only to start using it again at 5 months and have only just stopped completely
