Well, I had a m/c last month from only one month of TTC. 3 weeks later and I have a VFP.
Anyone know the chances of having 2 m/c's in a row? I'm even reluctant to tell DH as I don't want to get him excited if it's not happening. I might go get some bloods tomorrow so i can repeat in a week and make sure the levels are increasing and not decreasing like last time.
I do feel crook but don't have sore boobs like last time. It's just the same symptoms but not as bad as before. Perhaps it's just that i'm earlier this time round.
Anyone had 2 m/c or are the chances of this quite low?

As far as I am aware it is quite common to have one m/c and quite rare to have recurrent m/c's. Also having one m/c doesn't make you at higher risk of having another.
I am also like nzpiper and am pregnant again after a m/c that I had at the beginning of March.
Congratulations and try to relax (I know impossible, but try) and tell your husband

I also think you should tell your husband.
And yes, its very common to fall pregnant again after a miscarriage.
Good luck - I have my finger and toes crossed for you!

I would tell your husband, you both need all the support you can get after your M/C and besides that - he deserves some good news too
All the best for the next 8 months

Well, this morning brought a BFP! I'm off to the doc this arvo.
Told DH. He asked me if I was ok then sat and stared at the wall for about 20 minutes. I think we're both waiting to hear what the doc says today.

Danaj - according to the hospital Drs when I had my miscarraige it is very common for 1st pregnancies to end in a M/C - so its more common than you think. Im pregnant with number two since the M/C and you do tend to worry but unless there was something majorily clinical you should be fine.
All the best & happy & healthy 8 monthsXX
PS its taken my DH up to the first scan to sink in for him that we are pregnant again (i think even then hes still not 100% convinced LOL) as after my M/C it took 2 years plus fertility treatment to get number one and weve "accidently" fell pregnant with number two!! so try not to worry too much at this stage about your DH's reaction

Well, the doc says i'm due around 4th Feb! Feeling ok, very very tired and struggling with the quitting smoking. Has to go but it's still really hard.
DH is doing fine. I don't think it's sunk in yet but he's happy.

Hey, congrats on the pregnancy
I had a m/c last July, was due 20th Feb. Then fell pregnant again 2 months later, and I am now due to have my baby in just under 3 weeks So I dont think their is an incresed risk at all, I actually read somewhere that having 2 in a row is not that common, though it does happen its not common.
