Topic: Early onset morning sickness?? Posted: 27 February 2008 at 8:30am |
When did ms start for you?
It started at 7 weeks will Elle & was just all day nausea.
This time around I feel really sick already! I almost had to run to the bathroom in the middle of the night and when I woke this morning. After I eat it settles to just feeling like heartburn.
Isn't 4 weeks a bit early for morning sickness??? Guessing it's a good sign though.

As soon as I found out I was preggers at about 5 weeks, I started feeling sick. Sometimes I wonder if it is a psycological thing! Or maybe you ate something funny?

I guess there may sometimes be a psychological element but I started feeling sick Sun and don't think it'd wake me in the night if it was not real.
I know digestion slows when you get pregnant and that is almost what it feels like...I need to eat but then it is just sits and feels all acidic.
Could be a bug I guess although nothing is coming out either end ATM LOL.

MIne started at 3.5 weeks this time which is what made me test so early. Last time it didn't start until 6 weeks. Perhaps are bodies are just more tuned in 2nd time around.

DD - started at 5 weeks
This baby - started at 7 weeks.
Some people start to get morning sickness as early as 3 weeks (1 week after conception) due to the rising hormone levels. This is how they suspect they are pg before doing a test!

Mine started at 7-8weeks last time. At that stage I was wishing for something to make me feel pregnant - was a silly girl!! I vomited a few times a week (usually at dinner time) and felt nauseous constantly.
MS is a great sign though and maybe since it's started so early it'll ease off earlier too

For me it started the day after I found out I was pregnant - 4 weeks. No doubt partly psychological!

Bang on 6 weeks both times for me, although with Benjy I had digestive issues from the day I was due for my period. (Very gurgly tum and acid burps)

Well I seem to have a sore arm pit so I think it must mean a swollen lymph node.
Maybe I do have a bug. Elle still has muscousy green nappies 3 times a day so maybe she has a bug too...
Argh! Who knows.

Mine started at 6 weeks and went till about 13. No vomiting just 24 hour nausea. It sucked. I told DH he better be hoping for twins because I didn't think I could deal with it again. No one tells you how horrible it is!! Although at least I didn't vomit..

Whoa hang on... you're pregnant?!? CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Yay
...anyway, mine started right on 6 weeks - I'll never forget it because we'd travelled to a big family do and the hotel had screwed up, leaving DH and I sharing a room with 4 of his brothers. And then the MS hit - lordy it was not a fun weekend!!
And again - I'm so happy for you!!! That's such cool news, Fiona.

Well the test says so but after the miscarriage and now having a swollen lymph node I'm a bit worried!

Mine started early too but it was quite mild the whole way thru - must have lasted from around 5 weeks to about 16-18 weeks for me I think.

I felt dizzy and sick from about 3 weeks but it seemed to go away by 4w5d. Now I just get the occasional wave of mild nausia. Ew, I'm not looking forward to getting my 'after 6 weeks' sickness though!
