we have found out our 7 wk old is tongue tied (took him to dc at 5 wks as wasnt latching on right when bfding and only sleeping 30-45mins then waking for another feed) we are waiting to see a paed at taranaki base but at his 6 wk check was told that they no longer 'snip'. I want to keep bfding but its getting harder and sore to keep going this way.

My question is does anyone know private or not an oral surgeon or doctor that specialise in this

Would pref New plymouth but am willing to travel to help my boy

My boy got his snipped at 3 months. Late detection.
That was 4 months ago. A gp did it for me.
I'm not in your area but you should ask around. Our ask an lc.
