Topic: Today is a good day Posted: 08 May 2006 at 8:44am |
Happy Monday everyone!
Soooo ...why is it a good day?
I've just made an appointment with my doctor (for today)to come off my ADs (anti-depressants). Yay!
Hopefully this is a good step in the right direction for TTC.

I was wondering where you were as I hadn't heard from you. I presumed you were at home protecting the ladle!
Great news about the AD's! And just to get your monies worth, don't forget to get all the other medications you need, and have a quick chat about TTC!

Good idea! I'm going to ask about a folic acid script as you can get much higher doses from the doc. My SIL gave me some of her leftovers and they're 800mg! But, I'm going to run out. I'll keep you posted on news post-appointment!
Going to the doctor is such a pain in the visa ...

Thank you everyone ...except Binkas Mum
Firstly the husband will be home to guard the ladle ...and secondly if I take my ladle to the appointment, and then try to conveince my doctor that I'm feeling quite happy, healthy and sane ...I think I might end up having a new prescription instead of coming off the ADs

*Curled up on the floor in the foetal position, rocking backwards and forth, trying to remember where my happy place used to be, but only able to think of the husband using the ladle for .....*gasp* cooking*
Will you people stop trying to unhinge me before I go for my doctor's appointment? You can unhinge me after, but if I go in there jabbering about my ladle she's not going to believe me that everything is good in my world!!
No Sarah, not at home ...didn't you get my email(s) ...?

good luck at the doctor's today ginger... and if you had taken my advice and put your ladle onto your keyring, then you would be able to take it with you without your meds being increased.

Hello chicky babes! I have been to my appointment, and I am coming off my ADs - wooppee My doctor wanted me to stay on them 6 months and I said 'No. Bollocks to that. I'm good!' So she said 'Ok. Off you come then!'. Faboo!!
And I'll post about the TTC stuff in the proper thread. See you there!
