Hi ladies,
Just a question, how long after the show happens, does labour start?
no not for me, my sister is due in 7days and has just txt me to say she has had a show this morning, am v excited and just wondering how long before labour starts! (am not goin to sleep tonight as am far too excited!!)

The bad news is that it could be anything from a few hours to a few days to a week!!!
Hopefully things do move along for her though!

If it was bloody they say most labours will start within 48 hours but saying that i had to wait 5 weeks with Jack.

Lol, I never went into labour! They had to prise her out of me inthe end, about 3 weeks after the show I think? Mine wasn't bloody until I had a VE though, and that doesn't really count.
Good luck for your sister! How exciting!

i didnt have a show till i was after i was in labour. so you never can tell every one is differnt.

First bubs, I went into labour the morning I had a bloody show. Hopefully the same will be true for your sis!

i had a show saturday, then went into labour monday. it wasn't bloody, mostly clear

I had to wait over 2 weeks for my bubba to arrive after my show, very frustrating as I rang and told everyone yea bubbas on it way....!!

Just bumping this thread as I have had two bloody shows today. This morning was quite an old browny blood one, and just now it was a fresh bloody one
M/w assures me all is normal.
Wish it was a clearer indication that labour is near!!! How frustrating!!!

At least you know your body is obviously getting ready for labour. I never had one with Hannah. Hope you dont have to wait too much longer, the last few weeks suck.

I guess it can take a bit for it all to come away. I know with Kobe it was 5 days from show to baby.

BTW my show didn't even start until I was in labour and about to push. It came out in about 6 lots
