For the last day or so I've had a pain in my right side, it is sort of like an ache, with sometimes sharper twinges. It is possibly just back pain from my wonderfully terrible posture.

It is around waist height and at the side/back but just on the one side. It eases up when if I rub it or put pressure on the area.

Sorry, but I don't have a midwife as yet so wondered if anyone could provide some advice as to whether I should be concerned or not.

Thanks and have a fabulous day.

I would go see your GP - its probably just ligament stretching and stuff but as its on one side they might want to rule out eptopic.
I would try not to be concerned at this stage (easiers said than done I know) - I never realised all the werid aches and pains that come with pregnancy. If something worries me I always get it checked out - its not like I know whats going on in there.

Hmm, I had something similar which turned out to be a pinched nerve from baby putting pressure on it... still have it actually. But you are only 5 weeks, so prob not it...?
I'd second the ectopic check up. Could it also have anything to do with your liver and/or kidney?

Sorry, not much help! Good luck.

I had a similar pain during my pregnancy, turned out to be a UTI from a food bacteria, affecting my kidney.
I would see a doctor in any case.. All the best.
