Oh man, did anyone else find Shorties impossible to watch tonight? I don't rush to watch but it was on and I just happen to see the episode where the prem baby dies.
I had to leave the room and started blubbering at a non-existant baby!

Ha. I don't usually watch it but happened to catch the end of it last night. I just sat there picking it apart instead "oh please it doesn't even look ventilated, they're not even trying compressions properly..." blah blah. Situation is sad, but wasn't realistic enough to prompt tears with me.

Haha Janine - I thought it would really upset me too - but I was also picking it apart! No alarms ringing, no emergency button pushed with about 15 nurses running from all directions etc!! And the acting from that doc or whatever she was, was pretty poor Oh and surely they would move mother and baby to a private room for cuddles after she passed? They did at Middlemore anyway

I'm not a shorty fan haven't watched it for years but just watched that episode on tvondemand cos the girls at work were talking about it. I agree it was SO unrealistic I spent the whole time thinking "oh whatever!" I thought they have some medical person that oversees scenes like that so they are true to life.
Sorry to those of you it upset but it's thats just my opinion.
