My 13 week old little girl has really bad dry skin which is quite red. We have been using aqueas cream but it doesnt seem to help. Am wondering if its the soap powder (eco store). Has anyone got any suggestions on the best soap powders for sensitive skin?
Anj - it could be the aqueous cream, we were told aqueous cream is a soap substitute LINK and LINK so we started using aquaderm cream and have noticed a big difference another link
We all have eczema and can't use aqueous cream, makes me red and itchy, fine with ecostore & earthwise powder but I always do an extra rinse cycle just to be sure.
Lucas pawpaw ointment is awesome, as is ordinary olive oil.
I find ecostore fine for sensitive skin. Don't use aqueous cream, fatty cream is better, and we used to wash baby in pinetarsol, the oily especially is good for soothing irritated skin and adding moisture, it also works as a soap substitute. otherwise baking soda in the bath is good too.
