It's a Popit wrap... basically just a long length of fabric. I loved it.

I'm not really sentimental about my wedding dress. I really shouldn't have worn it... it looks great on the hanger but not on me.

I won't be selling my wedding dress either, I love it too much even though I won't ever wear it again unless we renew our vows. I flew to Sydney and back in a day just to pick it up and I would never recoup the cost of it! Plus DH told me I wasn't allowed to sell it just in case I ever regret it

As for baby things, I am a bit of a shocker so I will probably keep quite a lot past what I need for No. 2

Oh me too, except mine was made out of a design I made up out of magazine cut-outs (ok, sounds dodge, but it was just the top off one dress with the skirt off another). Looked GREAT on the models, but the top just didn't work with me!!!

I still have the dress, looking forward to DD playing dress-ups in it one day. My mum was so emotionally attached to her dress, we were allowed to look but not touch, and then our house burned down and it was gone. I want my girl to play princesses like I would have loved to!

I think if you are asking the question then deep down you probably know you want to keep it - even if you dont' know you know it!!! You can alway change your mind later but I would keep it for now rather than regret it when it is too late.
On another note I notice that lots of people talk about baby things they will sell. I am curious that few seem to be giving things to others. The tradition of passing on baby things with pleasure and love seems to have been abrutly ended by many. It may be a generation thing - I don't know other people on this threads ages . I am an older mother in my late 30's and I have noticed that in our coffee morning group and amongst my friends those in my age group and older tend to pass things on to each other, to friends of friends or to charity while most of the younger ones to to put things on trade me or even try to sell them to friends.
I understand that times are hard and every $ can help but I don't think it is just about money as some of the people selling have plenty and many of those who are the most generous have little.
Is it another step away from supportive and sharing communities to individualism? Am I just too old fashioned and sentimental? I'm not sure but it makes me a little sad.

I don't have my dress. I think my Mum sold it. I hated how I looked so it's not something I wanted to keep.
