Topic: Reflux babies Posted: 09 October 2006 at 1:34pm |
I have been reading that we have quite a few reflux babies here. I have been going through my Treasures mags (looking for pirate stuff) and came across a article about reflux and a support group that is out there. http://www.cryingoverspiltmilk.co.nz is out there to help you all. Tha article is in the Feb/March 2005 magazine - try your library to have a read of it.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

That is an excellent website! Reading through it I'm so sure our little girl has reflux, I'll have a chat to the midwife today.
That site is excellent though!

I did wonder for a second if Erin's issues at the moment might be reflux related, but none of the symptoms match barring the odd time or two she will arch her back while grizzling... *sigh*

I would also recommend EBB as the moderator that runs the GGOR thread also runs the COSM site. (hehe - stick those in your PASI). If you do have any concerns though, you should take them up with your GP and make sure that you have the right diagnosis.

wish I knew that site was available when Bailey was little! looks like a great site!
on a side note, Bailey has to go for tests because of his reflux every week if not ever other week he has a tummy bug and the doctor thinks its his reflux causing it... he has to have bloods done first and then they will see if he needs ultrasounds/ ops done Poor Thing
