to hospital, How fun.
I have Cholestasis... sooo, the doc said i gotta be admitted. I was like whhaaa??? freaking out cause ive never had to go to hospital before! Ive only visted people. Trust me to wash my clothes when i need them! Haha. Now i gotta go to the dry cleaners. Im only in for a couple days. I was about to cry cause my baby shower is on saturday and i didnt want to miss it! So yeah the doc said its faster admitting me than being an outpatient. Cause ill be seen tomorrow and if i wasnt in the hospital it could take weeks. OH and i have to be induced. Ahhh! ------------- Melanie. Mum to Briahna Robyn, 3yrs |

Take care you yourself and hospital is boring make sure you get people to bring you in Mags and real food  ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Oh crap! I agree, hospital is boring so arrange lots of visitors and things to do.

Yeah i have got some books and mags to read. I have my brother and sister in law around. I dont know how many ppl will visit as most of my friends dont live in hams! Ill live, its only a couple days. Not sure when they will induce. The doctor said around 36 to 38 weeks so yeah im coming up 33 weeks now so thats not very far away! Its funny cause its my cousins 21st on the 21st and her party is on 25th and the whole time shes been telling me i better not go into labour on her birthday. It's a shame there's no internet access for ward patients All the best for the next couple of days, nice time to get a bit of rest since it's not all that long. Take a couple of mags or a sudoku/crossword book or something to do It's probably a good time to get acquainted with the ward etc... you'll be ok! I guess the worst case scenario with the baby shower is that everyone can come up to the hospital to see ya LOL now that would be fun! 
As for your sister... well I suspect you might have had your baby by then so at least you won't go into labour on the night LOL ------------- |

I told the dr i didnt want to stay in past saturday cause of my baby shower so she said ill just have to make an appt for monday
More waiting, i know. But i never realised how boring hospitals are! UGH! AND the ward i was meant to be in was full so i got put up to the post natal ward. Waking up a thousand times in the night to about 5 screaming babies. FUN lol. yeah i know i know i gotta get used to that right? DIdnt help that the lady next to me snored so badly! Yay, you're back! The post-natal ward at Waikato is horrible. The rooms are grotty and people just walk in and out of your room without even knocking!
When they shifted me from my own room after my c/s into a room with another lady, everytime her baby cried she would yell 'OH FOR f**kS SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Then all night she kept saying 'No titty until you burpy'. Drove me nuts! Hope your baby shower is fun! |
