I have just hit the 9th week mark and for the last 3 weeks have had MS. Almost totally off food and drink, feeling sick all the time 24/7.
Yesterday, I actually felt like food and felt a bit better. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and feel ill but I didnt. Today I feel still slightly a bit odd but not nauseaous. I have caught up on a lot of sleep this weekend so not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I'm worried as I didnt think MS wore off yet - I thought usually about the 12 week mark?? Its our first baby and it took us so long to get PG that now Im worried somethings wrong. I think I will ring the midwife tomorrow but I dont want her to think Im a drama queen.
Should I be worried??

I hardly got morning sickness, I only got it a couple of times and then nothing. Although with Rhyley things repeated on me more. Ring your midwife for peace of mind - thats part of the reason they are there for.

There were times when i thought my MS was gone then it came back. I had it till 20 weeks.
I dont think that would be anything to worry about? It may just be that its gone for you. Some people dont get it at all, some people have it throughout the whole pregnancy. Like AnnC said, she hardly had it.
Depends on the person i guess?
If your worried then you should talk to your MW though.

Hey Star. I was 9 weeks yesterday and my MS has improved quite a lot although still have really bad days. Like yesterday I was great, today I woke up in the night feeling crook then chucked twice this morning. I think yesterday was a good day as the day before I ate quite a bit in the evening and went to bed early - the sleep thing makes a huge difference!
See how you are tomorrow, it may be a totally different day! But call your m/w if you are really worried.

You needn't worry about it, at the 8 week mark they tell people to expect it to wear off by about 12 weeks - but it can be sooner OR later. Some people like me don't get it all all

Enjoy feeling a bit "normal" for abit, but check with your MW if there is anything wrong, that is what they are there for.
I have chronic MS with my first and this time round I haven't had any MS, so it has been fantastic! All the best!

apparently you are supposed to get it worse with a girl...it is certainly true with all my friends but i don't know if it's proven or not..
I would check with your midwife..do you still have the other symptoms..like tiredness and peeing etc? My midwife told me those are still symptoms as I was worried after my m/c...and as one of the previous posters said you might be sick again tomorrow...i thought mine had gone but nope..back today:) but i don't throw up i just feel nauseous and EVERYONE has told me I'm having a boy..lol...fine with me:)
I am sure you are fine and don't worry bout your midwife thinking you are a drama queen..she won't:)

Just when I thought it might be getting better! Who was I kidding! Let us know how you get on :) Seems as thoough bubs is being kind sometimes and just giving me a breather!

Hey Star,
They do say that tiredness exacerbates morning sickness so if you caught up on your sleep it may be why it's eased off a bit.
