Hi ladies

Just thought I'd let you know I am def not pg- AF arrived with a vengence this morning! One WHOLE week late- which I don't think has EVER happened before! Goes to show what stress can do I guess.....
DP and I are a little relieved- mainly due to the timing of it with new studies and jobs and moving etc) but also a little sad. We had gotten used to the excitment of a new baby and last night DP was even talking about what car he'd be buying for us now we were starting our family...awwww what a star hey
Anyway, thank you all so much for your support. I look forward to hanging around and joing the new mummy's club later this year with any luck.

funny how thinking you're pg, even if you weren't expecting to TTC that early, really gets you thinking huh? I'm in the same boat as you

((((hugs))) to you all. Thank you for your support. We were both a little gutted actually- even though we hadn't been ttc this month. It DOES start you thinking, that's for sure!
DP and I have decided to move onto Natural Family Planning so with any luck, we will be ttc with vigour aruond the end of the year! Don't want to wait too long as we're both early 30's but also want to be as prepared as poss in other ways- more settled in with a new place and a couple of other complicated family issues!
Busymum- are you ttc a third?

You're 4th?! Wow don't you guys have a TV? No wonder your tag is Busymum!
Seriously, I just think that's lovely. We're going to be like the Brady Bunch once DP and I start our own family! He has 2 from a PR and we're adopting another family members little boy soon as well. Then add our own in....
Can't wait!

Don't we have a tv? Sure, it's almost like an instruction manual these days

We've wanted a big family right from the start. Dunno how much that means but we both want at least another... we think maybe 6, but time will tell.

Ha I know the feeling re instruction manual Busymum!

Jamesmum- thank you so much for your best wishes. I'm a little nervous about 'officially' starting to ttc.... also exciting though. Hope I'm not too old to start at the end of this year; that's been a bit of a worry but I just haven't been ready up till now *gulp*

You definately aren't too old, I was worried about this I'm 34. My SIL who is a mid wife, says they don't worry too much now until your 37 plus. Was a relief as we don't want to TTC until next year either.

It's funny isn't it how once you start looking at TTC, you start to notice your cycles - things you've never noticed before like sore boobs and wee cramps, and feeling off towards the end of your cycle Not to mention that you've probably never worried about being a day or 2 late before, and NOW ... eek! 2 days and you've been through half a supermarket stockline of pg tests!!

It's a bit funny, and actually kind of nice - I had a couple of niggly little cramps last night, and I said to DH that I was cramping, and then realised I had noooo idea where in my cycle I am! Hehe. Other than trying to avoid a flood I don't really need to pay any attention!    Of course, technically, that's a little sad as well, but you take the good with the bad

It is a bit weird ginger, I've spent all these years doing what i can to avoid getting pg and thankful each time AF turned up, and now its the other way around.
Can't wait to stop BCP and TTC for real, although i think it will be a bit strange, BDing without consequences is quite liberating.

Good Luck to everyone.

I remember when we first started TTCing (way TMI coming right up), DH couldn't orgasm because he couldn't relax thinking about the consequences of what he was doing!! I think frustration got the better of him within a few weeks though!

That's so true Fleury! Haven't been at the BDing without consequences stage long but it certainly has taken our r'ship to another, closer level! Am so relieved I'm not too old to start trying too!  It's a hard call, do you start ttc before you're ready in case it takes ages or put it off and assume it'll all be quick (and also acknowledge that it may not be)?!

haha the fact he lasted a few weeks is all credit to the man! I don't think my DP would last a week...
