does anyone use these?
http://www.mothersinstinct.co.nz/cloth-nappy-inserts/microfibre-contoured-inserts/prod_65.html - Mothers Instinct contoured MF insert

Are they really as absorbent as using 4 large normal inserts without making the nappy 4 times as big?

Caitlin is needing to be changed hourly this week (My poor Mum called me pulling her hair out because she has no clean/dry Fuzzis left and wanted to know if it was ok to get a pack of sposies. Naturally I said " NO!" lol just kidding

Edited to correct typo

I stuff one of our Ecobubs pockets with the standard trifold insert plus one of those contoured ones, and while it is a little bit bulky it does the job every time - and no leaks whatsoever ! I guess it depends on the size and width of the pocket that you are going to put it into as well, but I would recommend them for sure.

so that's 7 layers of microfibre in a pocket? (tri fold and this 4 layer?)

Toni I have some of these and I cant use them alone as they leak for me. I usually use a peapod booster or a hemp/microfibre from tweedles with a contour insert and that does the trick!

Yup that's right, plus the 3 layers of hemp that are on the other side of the Ecobubs trifold. Just put Erin to bed with it on tonight actually !

I use the contours through the day and find they last us a good 3 hours on their own. I don't use anything else as I find these trim, soft and reliable. They used to do 4 hours (on the odd occassion when we were out and about) but that time has reduced now she is older.

I just got some seconds of these, find they do less time than my fuzzi inserts with a booster.

Nice and trim though.

Amazing how everyone gets different results with inserts huh! I tried fuzzi's insert + booster and found them really bulky and they barely did 2 hours and yet my contours last 3 or 4.

My girl is a super pee'er!

I'm waiting to see if the contours improve with more and more washing.

But yeah I'm hanging out for the HC inserts too!

I have a couple of these but maybe they haven't been washed enough as I don't find them any more absorbant than my folded flats.....
