I turned my back on her in the car for not more than 30 seconds while I went to get a trolley to put all three kids in, and she climbed out of her seat and over the front and somehow ended up with my rear view mirror in her hand  Not happy!
But also feeling intensely guilty, coz I didn't yell at her, I just did the "Mama is REALLY disappointed" speech, and now she's all sober and quiet and I still remember how devastated I used to get when my parents used the "D" word with me, I could handle angry, but disappointed was sooooo much worse! But I can't hug her and tell her it's ok, which is what I want to do, coz it's not ok, it's blinking naughty! -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

Oh no! It sounds so much scarier being Mum to a 4 year old, than it is to a 8 month old baby who doesnt move! You do a great job

Hang in there, Emma... it won't be long before she starts reasoning out whether or not she should be doing things... of course, then the struggle becomes to make her listen to herself!
