I've got a couple, they're great, and I've never had any leaks/wicking even with the cotton laminate PUL.

Mazzy - yep they are most definitely pockets.
I have been quite pleased with mine too, except discovered tonight that it doesn't do well with both pee *and* a teething poo-splosion I usually put it on Erin if I know it's only going to be a couple of hours until her next change.

Oh no!
They look so cute, I think we might bid on them. Have to wait until morning though as I can't remember DH's password.
Only thing is DD is going through a mega-wee stage (at least, I hope it's a stage!). I have to change her fuzzis after only two or so hours and that's with two inserts and a booster in them.
Do you think the HH's will cope?

My girls are mega wetters, they need 2 inserts plus a booster, and lately I've been using hemp to boost them coz microfibre just doesn't do it. I've found my HH's work really well (I have 10, 2 print and 8 plain) stuffed with either a flat or a prefold, they last for 3 hours + no worries.

Excellent, thank you! I am getting paranoid about the mega-wetting. She needs at least two inserts and a booster to last more than two hours and don't even ask me what we use at night.

We use Ecobubs wool pockets at night with a flanny flat and a hemp flat. They have THE hugest butts, but sooo cute, and I only get the odd leak.

What's a flanny flat?
We have one ecobubs wool pocket and agreed, it is great. We stuff it with two hemp flats, two microfibre inserts and a booster...and still get the odd leak from soaking through all that. She has the hugest butt at night too!

A 'flanny flat' is an old fashioned flannelette flat cloth nappy, the ones you used to (and still can) fold around bubs and then pin together. They are good for stuffing into pockets, or even as spill cloths. I second the Ecobubs wool pockets for night time, ours is awesome !!
