Quick question ladies
When trying to make a bubba should you not have sex before ovulation or does it not make a difference if you have sex every day ie should you save them up!!?

okay the best way so im told by my doctor is every second day from day 10 to day 20
sperm need 48 hours to be at optium which is why its every 2nd day, dont forget to raise your hips afterwards, either with feet up the wall or with a pillow
and good luck

We were told every day, my gynae told me the every second day thing is a myth, he said the more often you BD the more chances there are that sperm will meet egg.
With the gremlins we didn't BD on O day so the spermie must have gotten thru from the day before.

I've also been told that the once every two days rule is a myth - unless of course there are sperm issues.
A male in the optimum "zone" should have no problem with ejaculating every day. If he's got a good count and good motility then going for it every day doubles the chances of pregnancy! (Well, ish....)
However, if there are sperm issues (particularly a low count) then he will need a little longer to rejuvenate and so once every two days is better.
Then again, if his sperm don't tend to live long, then that again would suggest doing it every day.
There's a lot of factors, but for the vast majority of men there is no problem with BDing every day. Try not to stress too much though - you could always go for something in between. Or, if you're confident you know certainly when ovulation is about to occur (through temping and/or use of OPKs) then you can focus your attentions better.
Woh - novel! Hope this helped a little....

We did it everyday from before and til after ovulation just to be sure, and I put my legs up on the wall after each time for about 10mins and yep I got my BFP this month, and I swear its from bedding everyday and putting my legs up!
Good Luck

we did it on lead up to O and basically aimed for every second day for a ten day period...
Um Gabriella was conceived on either a legs up in air get that spermie to the eggie evening session... or as i like to remind DH - more likely from the quicky in a certain possie where the eggie was hit very fast...woof!

lololol.
I am totally new to all these ideas as we have never "tried" (definately not boasting or complaining here)
Each time, has been a complete 1 off, only time without protection at the "right time" obviously.
I have no idea what "trying" entails.. apart fromt he obvious. I just keep thinking that well, It can't be that easy consistently can it?.. just cos i actually want it to happen i bet you it won't be that easy.
The other thing i wonder is that well, we know the vasectomy didn't completely work, obviously, but i wonder how much harder it will be working with maybe just the 1 barrel which is what we are thinking happened? lol
