Ok so Im 1DPO, and Ive just found this morning Ive had/having a little AF! WTF! This is not normal for me, to be having bleeding inthe middle of my cycle. Any ideas? It was only one decent 'splodge' as it were (I know TMI) and now seems to be stopping. Does this mean I have to adjust my dates? Or could it be implantation bleeding? (Bloody unlikely as DF is virtually infertile)

HELP!

Personal question bumblefoot but did you guys bd recently? I had a bit of bleeding just after ovulation for one of my cycles and I know if your partner hits the cervix it can bleed quite easily.

Nothings personal on  this form Queenbean.

Yep we did, but it was a few days ago, and this is more AF than 'ow Im bleeding' If you know what I mean.

I had wondered the same, as I have a uterine prolapse, so everythime is bumping the cervix time, I guess you could say. And as I said it was a few days ago now, and this is more like AF than anything else.

Does that make sense?

Implantation bleeding is usually around 6-8 DPO or even a little later if it happens ...and since you were due to ovulate just a couple of days ago, it's very unliklely hun, I hate to say.

I wouldn't adjust your dates - I've had a cycle where I had funny brown CM for a day, and it didn't make any difference to my cycle.

Good to know Ginger, I was pretty sure it wasnt, but thought Id ask all the same.

Seems a bit odd tho, Im glad I dont need to adjust dates and all that, I was so in the groove of knowing when it was coming so it was a bit of a shock to find this!

So, may it go away!

Oh and Ginger, shouldnt you be working?

Maybe it's a very short cycle, I don't know why they happen but they certainly can. When I first got my periods at 14yrs, I was 18 days apart

Sometimes your ovum can blast out of your ovary and cause a slight slip in the uterine lining causing spotting. A small amount of women experience this on a monthly basis.
I am sure if you google "midcycle bleeding" you would find a tonne of information.

Love your wording Peace 'blast out' LOL!

Well it seems to have stopped now, and was never really a full blown AF per say, just puzzling. Didnt have any cramps or nausea either. Just another oddity from my fab body I guess!

Cheers ladies.
