Ok, this time I promise I have used the search function first and didn't get any hits.
Does anyone know anything about the Maclaren MX3 stroller? Any comments about how good/bad it is, and whether it's worth considering it?
What about Steelcraft strollers, like the Transition etc.?
I'm wanting a 3 wheeler with an optional carry cot/bassinet attachment which the Maclaren and various Steelcraft strollers do. I know Mountain Buggy are also an option, but I suspect they may be a tad out of our price range. I know I could get a second-hand MB off TradeMe but this is one thing I'd really rather get new.
Any other strollers people can recommend for me to check out? I'd rather not pay more than $450-$500 for the stroller and $180ish for the carry cot if possible.

I had a Steelcraft with Nyah and I hated it, will never use that again, it's sitting gathering dust in the outlaws garage..we've gone with the MB Designer this time around.

Yeah I was wondering about the MacClaren stroller too. I want the bassinet attachment as well. I know it has a toddler attachment but I notice it's quite far out front - how does this affect the centre of gravity of the thing?
A friend of mine looked at one of these about 2 years ago and decided against it because:
a) wouldn't fold up to fit into her car
b) didn't come with a toddler attachement then
But I thought it looked pretty good. I want something that is easy to use, not too expensive, will work on the beach as well as the road, and has the bassinet attachment and a toddler attachment. The MacClaren seems to fit this criteria but I'd love to hear from people who actually have one.
