Ok, so the long awaited results are in and the verdict? Well, aparantly DP has an amazingly high sperm count, with great motility. (80million with 85% motility) so that is great news. We cna rule him out of the picture for our lack of baby. As for me, all my levels are normal, prolactin and thyroid function are both normal, and Im immune to Rubella. So all god news. Now we just have to wait for day 21 or there abouts and have the FSh, LH and progesterone tests to see if thats all ok. So failing anything wrong with the hormone side of things it is a little confusing as to what is causing our lack of baby. I have a grade 2-3 Uterine/Cervical prolapse that doesnt really cause me any problems, but do wonder if that could be the cause of our problems. So WAY TMI to follow: Please look away if faint of heart, there is no better way to explain it. Could it be that DPs swimmers (how ever mutantly strong and numerous they may be) arent hitting the right target? Generally speaking, could the spermies be shooting past the prolapse and missing the cervix altogether? DP swears this is the prob, in which case it would need to be IUI r similar to be successful. I do wonder if in this case they could just find the cerfix on the way back down to 'dripping out' after the deed (god, I know, TMI) I mean how hard can it be to find? I can see some sense in his reasoning, adn he knows whats going on down there, so what are your thoughts? Does anyone else have any experience with prolapse and TTC? Or prolapse in general? Sorry im not much help i just wanted to say that its great news that all seems healthy on both parts so far and hopefully you will get pregnant when you least expect it
With your question - im just taking a stab in the dark as i really have no idea but im guessing that the swimmers should find their way in no mater where the entrance is as its not like they have eyes and they should just find their way like you said - maybe on the way out????

a) they come from a man....when was the last time they asked for any directions b) arent the little buggers blind? c) they still manage to crawl there way up and there are lots of them...surely one will get it right soon Sorry not very helpful but it does sound like its all going well....just a waiting game???? |

you could possibly try different positions that would aim his swimmers at the right spot.. ie, going in deeper. way TMI but aparently the same position as a certain canaine species is said to help. lol oh how tactful was that.. not. hope it all turns out for you soon. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

Thanks for the advice! Never mind the way TMI, Ive been in and out of hospital most of my life, and some of the questions Ive been asked are REALLY personal! (IE: Erin, what consistency are your poos? Runny like soup, firm like sheeps droppings, or hard like rocks? How do you answer a question like that? ROFLOL! Yes, well re. positions, lets just say that we have tried nearly everyone under the sun...enough said. Honey if you can get knocked up from someone sperming on your thigh then you can get pregnant with a prolapse! I hear they can improve through pelvic exercises... or so I read off another site - don't quote that as fact just yet!
