Ok so finally after 11 months of waiting , my period looks like its finally on its way today yipeeeeeeeee, I am not sure how long my cycle is as haven't had a period in sooooooo long.
I'm sure i read somewhere that you are most fertile 14 days after the first day of your period but should try every day from days 9 - 15, is this about right?

Hi Emmaohara,
Congrats on AF coming back. Supposedly, the majority of people ovulate 14 days or so before their period is due. So if you have a long cycle, ovulation will be later. The last couple of months I have ovulated on day 18 - 20. If you start having regular periods it gives you a bit more to go on. Having said that, before I started temping I assumed O was earlier than it was for me. Are you charting? I was wary of it at first, but have found it super, dooper helpful and I have learnt so much I didn't know. Plus, it kind of feels like I have some control (I know I don't really - it's all in my mind!). Using OPKs has been really helpful too. Theres a really good seller on TradeMe called Worzel1. Sorry it was a false alarm and hope it comes soon for you emma.
Mine was real late this month (stress I think) and although it was a bummer when I got it (as I thought I could be preggie), I was glad when it finally came because it meant I could get on with things and I felt like my body was Ok! Even though it's horrible having AF lol. Anyway hoping you don't have to wait too much longer, I know it's the waiting that is hard
