Four years ago at this exact moment I was cuddling my little newborn and waiting to transfer from National Womens to Birthcare. I can remember it as if it were yesterday! Where did the time go....
We have a pretty quiet day planned. She opened all her presents this morning, and we had pastries for breakfast (birthday tradition in our family). Then we lit her baptism candle at 8.11am which is the time she was born. A bit later on we're off to McD's with some friends over here in Sydney and I've made a Barbie cake for her. Then on March 16 she's having a party at Chipmunks at home for her preschool friends. I am just spinning out that my little girl is 4 - next year she will be at school! And yet I still picture her as a tiny baby (not hard really given the gremlins look so much like she did!) Happy birthday bubba womble! -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

LOL Janine, we enrolled Maya in school at 2 to get her in, I want her to go to Marist which is a Catholic school and they have a shocking waiting list. Am off to enrol the gremlins in a couple of weeks  ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

Happy Birthday Maya I remember my parents had enrolled me at a sceondary school in Brisbane when I was 2 just so I could get into it. Didn't end up going to it though as we had moved to NZ already. We have already looked at the schools in our area and i'm hoping we can get Andrew in to one just out of the area as I went to it - fingers crossed as I don't like the other schools we have here. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

As for schools - Dh has already looked into strathallan...not sure i want her there at age 5 tho...i didnt do the private school thing til high school and kinda want her to have the full primary type of experience...OMG that is a whole nudda thread... yeah Becs we are looking at either russel st, central normal or milson at the mo - all good school but would prefer central as i went there so may have to move to be in their zoning. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

As for school enrolments, My girls go to Sacred Heart primary.
