Woohoo! So exciting! Ella has already been asking things like "where does the wind come from" etc etc but now the pointless "why's" are here!

Cute example: (most aren't so cute lol)

(kissing her goodnight) Me: "love you Ella"

her: "why?"

me: "because i do"

her: "why do you love me?"

me (smiling): "because you make me smile"

her: "why do i make you smile mummy?"

me: "because you do. good night love"

(I attempt to leave)

her: "can I make you smile mummy?"

hehehe, i love hearing the "why" examples, i'm so glad my boy is still at the first talking stage. i probably won't be so smug when he starts up the "why's" though, i can imagine they'll get old very quickly.

Yeah 'because I said' just doesnt do it these days. Funny how it just starts all of a sudden though and they dont get sick of asking. The other day we were early for something so i went for a drive around a new subdivison and had the old why are we driving round, I said to get ideas, why we need ideas, cos we are building a house, why are we building house, to live in, why, because, why, because, why, because but he never got sick of me saying because just kept asking why.
