As you know, I was keeping tabs on my cervical position last cycle, and because of the whole spotting thing yesterday, I've also been checking CM internally yesterday/today.

Right towards the end of my cycle, I noticed that a section of my vaginal wall, up close to my cervix, was really hard. The back wall. Because my cervix was so soft, I thought this might have been something to do with that.

Lat night after BD, DH said to me "Was that your cervix I was hitting? It felt like someone was rubbing the end of my knob [he's a poetic wee soul is my DH] with their finger" (I know, waaaayyyy TMI ...bear with me!)

I said that I guessed so, that's way my cervix felt like to touch at the moment, and didn't think anything of it. Until this morning.

I had a little bit more of an extremely faint brownish discharge, and so did an internal mucus check.

What I came up with was that that hard vaginal wall feeling was right down almost to the entrance of my vagina.

Does anyone know what causes this ...or has anyone else *experienced* this?

There's probably a good reason for it happening, but ...well. You imagine things. You know?

Add it to the list of stuff to see the doctor about!

I don't even want to post this.

I'm pretty open about the whole TTC thing and associated ....stuff .... but, well ...

Bu*ger.

I have worked it out.

I do not have advanced cancer of the nether regions as I imagined colourfully this morning (so I have an active imagination, sue me! ).

It appears that when you need to go number twos, or are building up to needing number twos ...you can actually *feel* it from your vagina.

Honestly!!!!

I am *never* venturing in that direction *again*.

Or at least if I do, I'm not telling anyone if I discover something new.

AND FURTHERMORE if a *single* one of you sniggers ...I'm going to knock your blocks off. With the ladle.

Ahhh lildo ...bless you!

Trust me, I googled a fair few combinations before I gave up and found some side views of female anatomy, and tried to work out what the hell I *might* be feeling if it wasn't a dreaded lurg!

I am *such* a dork.

Plus, I will *have* to tell DH because it's so funny, and he is going to wet himself laughing.

At least I know that the cervix incident of last night and the ....*other* business (hahaha!! ) of today is unrelated.

And JD? Exactly!

Are you sure your DH will laugh? Um DH, last night your *knob* was actually having a nice little massage from my err leftover dinner. Ugh!!!

Actually, Lildo ...here's a question for you ...

If baby is born early and is really small ...does it still hurt as badly as when baby is a normal size eg. 7/8+ lbs

I know it's a stupid question ...but, you don't ask, you don't learn!

[Snort] You're a gem busymum

The BD/cervix thing I'm absolutely certain is the BD/cervix thing as opposed to the ...other ...because that's not that unusual (I notice it, but he's never mentioned it before).

And I can think of all sorts of terrible jokes to make if it wasn't the cervix - he's absolutely precious, and his sense of humour is a similar gutter grade to my own

Ah, that really is a measure of a good birth. I remember being terribly excited after I managed to do it (maybe the day after or two days after? two days sounds like an awfully long time ).

Thanks gals

It's just one of those things I've been curious about, being a non-parent.

As for the other ...I went home and told DH and he absolutely saw the funny side of it, and it sparked a very in depth discussion and about all manner of disgusting things

It was probably just as well we were in a disgusting frame of mind ...we went to Spookers on Saturday!!
