I've been kind of quiet about my RE and some yellow & red flags that have been thrown up surrounding him. But after this week and his lack of response, to my questions has me worried.
I think he's half-assing my treatment.
Here are my concerns surrounding him:
1. We have never had a baseline ultrasound. Not at the beginning of treatment, not after the last two failed cycles. Never. I realized this isn't normal. 2. He has had his nurse do my monitoring ultrasounds before, and this week perform my IUI. 3. The clinic, doesn't respond to my insurance company, or pharmacy. They've sent numerous requests to fill out paperwork for increasing my dosage of femara. He hasn't done it. I had to pay out of pocket this cycle for it.
With all of these negative and scary things, he's still regarded as the best in my area. There's only ONE other clinic and their reviews are horrid. I'm f**king trapped.
I cannot drive to the next city that is 1.5 hours away for treatments. I'd lose my job with taking so much time off.
Any reccomendations? Maybe some clinics abroad at least?

My story, as a recap, is that my partner (40) and I (35) hit about 13 months with zero, so I am working him towards seeing a specialist to get a SA started.
My gyn suggested it in September, but of course, I figured it would work out in the meantime.
In a prior relationship, DH had begun trying, without success either, and is now convinced "it's him," as his ex was successful in her new relationship.
I don't want a blame game, but as some of you said before, knowing how to move forward is the first step, and an SA is sooooo much less invasive than what we have to do.

I feel like I should know this, but how do you figure out if a physician is an RE?
When I search for REs abroad, I see a lot of fertility clinics come up, but when I check their physician lists, they are all OBs that specialize in infertility.
It's not the same thing, right? Is there a better way to find an actual RE?
