Have been TTC, period a week late, (normally on time within a day or 2) pregnancy tests negative, had read online some people don't get a positive until quite far along, went to get a blood test, also negative. Where do I go from here? Do I visit my Dr, is there anything they can do, or do I have to just wait it out? |

Hi Lauren, It's very possible you may have ovulated late, even if your usually regular maybe of you've been stressed about ttc it has delayed ovulation? I'm sorry you are going through this it makes it all rather frustrating. I'm not a Dr, but if it were me I would wait it out for another week then go back to the Dr and see what they say. Have you considered charting with fertility friend? You can see in hindsight when you ovulated so you can get a good idea of when your expecting your period (or not ;-) ) which is helpful on the odd occasion if you do ovulate late. | Thanks for your reply - It is a possibility I may have ovulated later, therefore later period, I have the Ovia app to track period etc, and have been using ovulation strips, but ran out during my cycle last month, so never got a positive before running out. Will wait and see if things happen in the next week and go from there. Def not preg due to the blood test results. |
