It was unexpected. We got the go ahead from specialis to try when we're ready. I knew I was ovulating that day. Said to dh...what do you reckon? Be said might as well give it nudge. I really didn't think we would be that lucky to conceive so quickly. My Uterus is very sensitive! Feeling every twinge some of them quite intense.

I was cleaning up the house and came across an un open bottle of extra virgin olive oil. I have never used that oil before. Do you only use it with salads or can you cook with it? I wouldn't mind seeing what it tastes like I know it is meant to be a healthy oil.

I always cook with it as it's a lot healthier for you than canola etc!
I did hate it growing up - but I don't know! My dad's name is warren and he just dropped letters to get Wren! When I was young I used to get teased and called ren from ren and stimpy!
Omg I hate how everyone is on holiday but me Lol

Found the chart in a book I have at home with this information.
Many researchers recommend a mix of (alpha-linoleic and linoleic acid)(Linoleic is polyunsaturated omega-6 fat.)If you don't want the details, just stick with canola for cooking. It is among the lowest in saturated fat and it has a good mix of alpha-linoleic and linoleic acid.

Mimi that's so exciting - Omg - you can't help but get your hopes up!
I'm due in about a week - I haven't followed my cycle very well this month - I only knew I was ovulating because of the pain and clear mucus so got a couple of shots in! Why is it some months I don't have any idea at all I'm ovulating and other months I get signs??

Hello ladies,
Better introduce myself! Hubby and I already have to kids, Mstr 9 (tomorrow whoop whoop) and Miss nearly 5! We have big gaps because we achieved degrees etc in between haha, then when we tried for #3 we had a MMC in November last year I was so devastated, but had to jump straight back into ttc. I am CD1 today booooooo!
Thought I may as well join in over here too! I found the Clear Blue Ovulation Test kit Anthea, is that the one you were meaning, with the smiley faces??? So if you use up the 10 strips, are there packs you can buy like refills to keep using the little gadget? Because of my irregular cycle atm, I think I would rather use more sticks to make sure I don't miss it etc??

I bought one a few years ago on trade me for about $20 worked fine for me.

It's funny, because it's sadly true lol.
We were talking about my cycle and she said from her experience, doing the deed on CD 10, 12, 14, 16, and ,if you're keen, 18 will get you in with a good chance. She also said that doing it every second day, instead of every day, during your fertile window, is better because it'll ensure more of a "fresh batch" of swimmers lol. Also to keep in mind that it's considered normal for it to take up to a year, so if it doesn't happen next month, it's okay to be down, have some chocolate, and look forward to trying in the next month. I so needed to hear that last point! Love her to bits.
You ladies probably know all of this already lol, but for a TTC newbie, it was fantastic information!

Hi ladies,
Well im out for this month, AF reared her ugly head on Saturday although it is a very strange AF, took a test just before to make sure I wasn't and that it may have been implantation bleeding, but nope it's the real deal, a very short and weird period, only red on saturday, and been brown/nothing since then?! Not to mention it was early too booo.
So yip, trying everything this month, opks should arrive tomorrow I am looking forward to using them to find some kind of pattern in my cycle, I have a funny feeling we have just totally missed ov due to irregularities!

Booooo! Big hugs Mami. I must admit that when I first started reading your post, I thought of implantation bleeding as well. Next month is brand new month, with a brand new chance of getting that BFP :D
Exciting news about the opks, let us know how you get on with them!

Hi Girls, Went to find KHPP as we are TTC again (i first started TTC on EBB then it changed to KHPP and couldn't find it anywhere) Typed in TTC forums nz and this is the first one it came up with so yay Remember a few names from the old EBB days so yay! We are TTC #4 this is our last month, as we have just started a new business and if it doesn't happened this month then we will focus on that for now and timing of baby wouldn't work out next couple months anyway. I'm on CD 18

Actually, that's what I've been meaning to ask. What does the KHPP stand for? Also what does EBB stand for? These may be dumb questions lol.

EBB was Everybody Communities, was a great forum with lots of great people, which sadly shut down, one of the members then decided to start KHPP - Kiwi Health Parenting and Pregnancy, unfortunately i think that must have fizzled out??

Feeling very disheartened just learnt normal lubricants and stop the wee sperm getting through! I use ky! Maybe that's why I can't fall pregnant!
