Hi all, I was hoping to assemble some stats for IVF in NZ from the ladies on OhBaby. It's hard to get stats and expected outcomes, so thought we could put together our own! Sample size: 5 ladies (so need more lol) Last updated: 20/7/15 IVF Cycle #1 Stats (calculated average over 4 samples) Average # eggs collected: 19.75 % fertilised: 57.1% Average # usable embryos: 5.5 Early pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 100% (includes chemical preg & early MMC) Successful pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 50% % cycles with fresh transfer: 50% (50% freeze-all) IVF Cycle #2 Stats (calculated average over 1 sample) Average # eggs collected: 11 % fertilised: 45% Average # usable embryos: 1 Early pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 100% (includes chemical preg & early MMC) Successful pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 0% % cycles with fresh transfer: 0% (100% freeze-all) IVF Cycle #4 Stats (calculated average over 1 sample) Average # eggs collected: 8 % fertilised: 75% Average # usable embryos: 4 Early pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 100% (includes chemical preg & early MMC) Successful pregnancy rate per embryo transfer: 50% % cycles with fresh transfer: 100% (0% freeze-all) ------------- Me: 35, PCOS, endo, DH: 34, severe MFI 6+ yrs TTC#2 M/C 2012, clomid 2013, IVM 2014, IVF 2015, M/C 2015 2016 FET#1- BFP - MMC - Emergency D&C FET#2 - BFN Jul 16 - stage 3 endo removed. My stats: Hubby: 32
Diagnosis: PCOS and severe MFI (low count, motility and morphology). IVF Cycle #1 Treatment: Short protocol with Puregon 150 Eggs retrieved: 21 (10 mature) % Fertilised: 100% Embryos: 2 Transfer or freeze all: Freeze-all Outcome: TBA ------------- Me: 35, PCOS, endo, DH: 34, severe MFI 6+ yrs TTC#2 M/C 2012, clomid 2013, IVM 2014, IVF 2015, M/C 2015 2016 FET#1- BFP - MMC - Emergency D&C FET#2 - BFN Jul 16 - stage 3 endo removed. Stats for one of my friends: Age: 26 Hubby: 29 Diagnosis: MFI IVF Cycle #1 (with ICSI) Treatment: Gonal F 150 Eggs retrieved: 26 Embryos: 11 (all frozen) Freeze-all cycle due to OHSS Outcome: FET#1 Chemical FET#2: BFN

Age: 30 Hubby: 32 Diagnosis: unexplained IVF cycle # 4 with time lapse Treatment: long protocol, Gonal f 150 Eggs retrieved: 8 Eggs fertilized: 6 Embryos: 4 Fresh transfer: chemical pregnancy FET #1: bfp currently 14 weeks Still have 2 in the freezer |

Might as well try chuck my stats up if I can remember them! Age - 32 Hubby - 43 Diagnosis - MFI (use donor sperm) IVF Cycle #1 Treatment - short protocol with Gonal 150 Eggs collected - 26 Eggs fertilised - 12 Freeze all - 2 due to ohss risk. FET 1 - Chemical, FET 2- Bfp, MMC at 8wks. IVF # 2 Treatment - short with Gonal 112.5 Eggs collected - 11 Eggs fertilised - 5 Freeze all - 1 FET - Chemical ------------- TTC since Oct 2009 4 x DI's failed IVF1 CP & MC IVF2 CP IVF3 Angel baby born 22.3wks |

Age: 33 DP: 39 Diagnosis: Retrograde Ejaculation Post Bowel Resection Surgery Treatment: IVF ISCI short protocol with Puregon 150 28 Feb 15 Eggs Collected: 19 Eggs Fertilised: 12 Embryos: 6 (5 now frozen) Day Five Embryo Transfer: BFP - Due 1 Dec 15 (NB: Severe OHSS post BFP. Abdo surgery at 6.5 weeks to correct enlarged ovarian torsion.)

Age (today): 34 Hubby: 40 Tubal Issues TTC since Oct 2011 Laparoscopy #1 and D&C April 2012 - adhesions removed, block tubes discovered. IVF# 1 March 13 - Long protocol, GonalF 220(I think) no fresh transfer, 6 frosties FET#1 June 13 - Chem Pg FET#2 July 13 - Miscarriage @ 6weeks FET#3 Oct 13 - BFN FET#4 Nov 13 - cancelled. FET#5 (manufactured) Feb 14 - BFN FET#6 (manufactured) March 14 - cancelled Laparoscopy #2 April 2014 - hydrosalpinx in both tubes, both removed. FET #7 (manufactured) June 14 - cancelled. FET #8 (manufactured & colorado protocol) July 14 - BFN FET #9 (manufactured & colorado protocol) Aug 14 - BFN IVF#2 Feb/Mar 15 - short protocol, GonalF 220(?) fresh transfer, BFN, no frosties |
