Hi all I know there is another area called coping with infertility however, it seems very quiet and thought "well I am TTC" after all . My name is Lorna and I am 34 my DH is 35. We have just reached the top of the waiting list in CHCH and have the consent day in two weeks. We have been LTTC for ten years and in that time had three miscarriages including an ectopic where I lost a tube. My AMH is also very low and my DH has boderline problems. Would love to share this journey with people and share our experiences. We live in Nelson. Look forward to hearing from anyone who maybe starting IVF either in ChCh or the rest of the country

Hi Lorna. We've just have 4 failed iui and now waiting for our review appt to see what happens next. It's likely ivf and we're looking at paying (we're qual for public but I'm impatient) so could be doing it all soon too. Wishing you the best of luck and looking forward to hearing how it goes.
ETA - we're in the north island and go through fert associates in Wellington.

Hi Lorna
We have been TTC for over three years or so and had one failed IUI and 2 early miscarriages. I had an extensive laproscopy for endometriosis mid last year. We finally have our consent day for IVF in September and should all go ahead in November after 2 years in the public system. Good luck with it all! We are in the North Island

Hi all, the appt went really well. We are going to be on the long protocol and start the injections on CD 21 which will be the 31st August. So very excited and nervous all at once. Found out my egg reserve is lower again so hoping the drugs do their best :-) We will prob stay in Hanmer in between the EC and ET for relaxation purposes ;-)
BabyCrazy - hope you get sorted soon as waiting is the hardest part of this journey. Will answer any questions you have to ask or anyone else
Beta how did you BT go?
Red - Not long for you now!!

I rang and of course now can't speak to specialist until 16th because he's away. Cheesed me off because we never actually had a set time to talk and if we had I would've made sure I was contactable instead I just happened to be on my drive home! Anyway is what it is. Just have to chill and be patient.

Hi Everyone Babycrazy knows me well, we are cycle buddies and I also have just been through 4 IUI rounds that were unsuccessful I am back to day one today, but feel ok about it because we have a plan Hysterscopy next Wednesday, holiday and then IVF next month
Lorna - What was you AMH level, mine was 4.35 so I am in the orange zone so not sure how many eggs we will get but the doctor is still hopeful for 6
Reddahlia - I think we are both using FA Hamilton as I remember you mentioning Jackie Burnett, Acupuncturist Where are you in your cycle, we might be doing it at the same time.
Me - 35 (just about 36) DH 37, been TTC for 2 and a half years Still awaiting my BFP

Lorna - how did it go?? Question - do the injections have to be kept in the fridge? And what times of the day did you take them? We're ivf in jan and smack in the middle of injections I have a hens party which is a most of the day half the night type thing so wondering about my injections. I might have to flag it if it's not going to work out.... Hens that is not ivf lol.

Hi BC..... Think I'm a little addicted to this site. The injections do need to be kept in the fridge. I remember going to a wedding party and drawing up the injections before I left and keeping it in my handbag with a wee bag of ice and wrapped in a cloth. Maybe that could work...? Or if you're at someone's house for part of the day you can store it in their fridge?

Thanks phoofy. That's a great idea and could probably work. We're out and about doing adventure type stuff during the afternoon then dinner and pubs so fridge is out. And it's a massive hens - combine for three girls getting married over three weekends. I don't want to stop life just cos of an injection so if I can make it work then I will.

Yeah mine have to be kept in the fridge too BC and they have to be taken before 8 at night, we were told to do it around 6pm. Could your DH maybe secretly bring it to you at the restaurant?

Unfortunately the hens is away from where we live so he won't be around to do that. I'll have a think. It's a bus trip too so it might mean taking my car and sifting away to there to do it.
