Hi all

I'm new to this so bear with me, with my first baby I got pregnant very accidentally lol so never tried before! We've been trying for a few months, still breastfeeding my 13 month old at bedtime.

I've just started temping using fertility friend, it thinks I've ovulated on CD11? That seems really really early from looking at other charts on there, most people seem to be CD 14-16. My cycle is usually about 26-27 days.

Oh well, lol I guess I'll find out one way or another in a couple of weeks! But if there are any charting experts I'd love some advice x

Hi Sprinkles Love your username!

If your cycle is usually about 26-27 days then OV between CD10 and CD17 would fall in the 'normal' range.

The important length of your cycle is the luteal phase, the bit between OV and AF and the normal length is between 10 and 16 days, with 14 days being the average.

So, I'd say you're lucky to have a short overall cycle, gives you less waiting for OV at the beginning of a cycle!

Thanks nellennium :)
Hopefully it's all good then! I wasn't sure if breastfeeding could muck it up?

BF can delay OV, it can completely stop cycles for some - or give them really long ones. But I'm pretty sure it's unlikely to cause early OV.

But I don't know much about BF and cycles, so I'm just guessing there
