Hoping for encouraging thoughts on this,
I took a pregnancy test first thing this morning, my period is due tomorrow middle of the night- it always comes middle of the night of the 28th day without fail!
But I just could not wait any longer to test. Took a couple of minutes to show a faint but definite pink test line. The longer I left it the darker the line got, No where near as dark as the control but still there. To make sure I went and got three more tests of a different brand and have since done two more. They took a little longer to show up, maybe 4-5 minutes (I had had a few cups of tea by now), but a coloured line was faint but visible, the thing that bothers me is that when I go back in the bathroom to look at them maybe after 15 minutes the test lines are very much darker... I am just hoping this is not a false positive. I have done pervious tests and never seen anything like this before, but I am aware that they say to not read after ten minutes. Im pretty sure that these are not evaporation lines as I think I have seen those before and they are kinda clear or greyish?
Cant get hold of my husband at work which is driving me nuts!

Sounds like positives to me!!! So long as the lines are coming up pink within the 10 min time frame it's looking good for you

Thanks Nellennium and mrsMJD
Got a hold of a happy hubby. Just went for a walk and when I went to the loo afterwards I had some pale brown spotting! Really confused now! Doesn't seem to be anymore, was about a couple of teaspoons.
This is my first pregnancy so not sure what's happening here? No pain.
Any ideas anyone ?

As hard as it is try to relax and not think too much about it. Brown spotting can be perfectly normal. Gosh I remember panty checking for weeks and weeks! And the first few weeks I was so sure AF was about to start, so many symptoms are similar. Lots of sticky dust coming your way!
