OK, so I really didn't want to be that person, who only a few days after ovulating questioning twinges in their bodies to just be told wait for AF or test. And here I am! hehe. So I'm apparently day 5 according to FF, but I actually think I'm day 6 going by CF as well as other signs and my temp pattern, and we BD on the day before ov (or 2 days if you go by FF). for the last couple of hours I've been getting twinges in my lower abdomen like cramps - enough that if I didn't know I was due next week, I would think AF was about to arrive!. my lower back is aching (granted this could be due to many things) and I woke up with a headache. Now I know that technically this is the absolute earliest you would technically feel symptoms, but I also know that I usually never get cramping until the actual day that AF arrives, which isn't due for a week. Now I know why its called the TWW and boy does it suck! so for ladies here who have already been pregnant, when did you actually notice your first symptoms? and I am sorry for being one of "Those" ladies! |

Hey avidkeo, I felt one big cramp like feeling at about 7dpo and put it down to nothing much ( actually to be honest felt like a little kick) (could have been wind lol) as well as that i had a pretty bad skin break out, but that was the only symptoms, my breasts still feel normal ( even tho im breastfeeding i thought i would notice them sooner) I was CONVINCED we weren't pregger this time but as you know we were,:) Also if you do test i HIGHLY recommend getting a Pregnosis early test and dont count on your FMU, I tested with FMU with a clear blue and got a fainter result them a midafternoon test, ( tho both we VERY VERY faint) Then tested in afternoon with Pregnosis and got a def dark result, then for sh*ts and giggles tried the following morning with pregnosis and got a faint line... so for me FMU was not giving the best results...and pregnosis gave a good clear result before clear blue did....oh and my OPKs were telling me i was OV again but actaully they were telling me i was preggers as VERY similar hormone. Im so excited for you Mummyinc! you mentioned breakouts - I didnt know that could be a sign cause Im having a bad breakout now! though I used to get them a few years ago but not the last couple of years. So the cramp for you was just one cramp rather than a dull ongoing feeling. hmmm interesting. I think Im just reading into things, and its still far too early! The other reason I think I ovulated on friday is that I felt nauseated on the way to work that day, and that was also my lowest temp, i started to rise on sat but FF put my o day down as sat. I know, just wait! thats interesting about the different tests! I have a box of FR at home, but as I work at the hospital, and one of the DR's knows im trying, I can get as many tests (within reason) from them! hehehe. |

Haha ohh thats good about the tests, tho i think doc ones pick up from 50ml hcg whereas pregnosis is 25ml totally up to you tho....i feel bloated and sore most of the time now but that has one been the last day and a bit...LOTS of cramping freaking me out....thats normal tho i think ------------- Ready to try for our Winter Wildling to join Louie and Scarlett our Autumn and Summer Babies http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

I got cramping on and off (every few days) for weeks, that's what made me test really (as wasn't really TTC seriously) Skin was bad too.. With my first I wasn't all that body aware, but I had a complete OTT meltdown at my DH at 3 weeks and then severe back pain from my uterus compressing my weird kidney at 5 weeks. Second time, I was still bf DD1 and she made it clear my milk was yuck all of a sudden when I would have been 3 weeks. This time round I started feeling ill every morning from 3 weeks (all day from 5 weeks). Dd2 still hasn't shown any sign of any changes in my milk this time.
