My wee angel is 6 months now and I believe we can use suntan lotion on her now. Does anyone know which is the best for a baby with sensitive skin? Thanks

you are much better off keeping her covered with clothes than using sunscreen. I think Toddler milk i supposed to be okay for babies that young though.

I had a really great (as natural as you can get) baby sunscreen which cost the earth and frustratingly isn't made anymore. So I did a bit of research and came across "UV Natural Sunscreen Baby SPF30+" I only used it a couple of times at the end of last summer but it does seem nice and the reviews are pretty good and it's safe for newborns apparently.

plunket advised us to try a small patch the day before we would need it incase of a reaction.

we use 'skinnies' %20" rel="nofollow - www.skinnies.co.nz . Or try an organics shop. Saying that however, we kept ours pretty much out of the sun for their first summers, so they didn't have the issue till over 1yr.

Quintessentials Natural Sunscreen is formulated by a naturopath, and is paraben free, nanoparticle free and petrochemical free, it's what we use and the Ecostore is pretty good too

We use La'Bonic which is an NZ made organic sun block - it's suitable for all of us, including our little boy... OhBaby have also done a review on it through their Community pages...
