to have a 1 week LT phase? So ovulate week 3 of 4 week cycle? Reason I as is AF is 2 days late (have been trying to get UTD for a few months now after a MC). Cervix is still high and soft and I am normally very regular.
I did one of those ultra sensitive First Response tests this morning with FMU (after holding my pee for 12 hours!)and still BFN
I wish AF would just bloody start so we can get onto a new cycle now! Although I have had this crazy and completely irrational thought that maybe I ovulate on week 3 of my cycle and have a very short LT phase (rational behind this is my sons were both 2 weeks late and the last baby which we lost was always measuring a week behind from the very start). Probably just clutching onto straws now.....
I have no signs that AF is about to start but she'll probably surprise me when I'm least expecting it :( Plan in to wait until Saturday morning and if AF still isn't here I'll do another test that morning.
I'm not a very patient person and half of me just wants to come on my period so I can stop obsessing but the other half wants her to stay away a bit longer so the dream is still alive.

It's completely possible!! I started doing OPK's when TTC number 2 and was surprised to see OV was happening around Day 25 of my 34 day cycle. I conceived on Day 24 and tested at 12 DPO (as AF was 2 days late) and got a very faint BFP.
Hope you have some answers soon, the waiting is horrible

Oh sounds good! Though from what I read on the internet it sounds unlikely to be UTD with a 7 day LT phase....something about not enough progesterone to sustain a healthy pregnancy? If/when AF starts I'm going to start using an ovulation predictor test to see exactly when I ovulate.

Yes I think that can be a problem Pepsicle but I think you would need to have blood tests to see if low progesterone is a problem or not. I thought that might be my problem too when I realised I was having a short LP but clearly not! Your GP could do the blood tests for you. Hopefully you won't need that or the OPK's though, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I didn't get a BFP with my second son until about 3 days after AF was due with one of the Discover tests and for the last pregnancy I was a week overdue before I tested anyway.
