Hi Baysmum

I'm at the end of it now, finally! I'm on day 28 of a 28 day cycle, but I'm not holding out for any interesting news though ... I've been having period pains and cramping on and off for the last while (pretty much from about 6 DPO) and to be honest, I feel perfectly normal apart from being a bit run down!

Good luck with the rest of your TWW ...it's amazing how long two weeks can be!

oh ginger! i hope those cramps are implantation cramps for you seen as they started right when implantation generally occurs (between 6-10 DPO).
Do you do BBT temping???

Your right though - these 2 weeks feels like 2 months!!!!

You and me both, but in all honesty, I don't have a single symptom at all. And, being the second cycle since surgery, I think in all likelihood, it'll be a bust. Still, it doesn't hurt to stay positive, until you have a reason not to.

No, I don't temp at the moment, though I'll start again next cycle. I used to, religiously, every month, and do a manual chart and compare etc ...but stopped once we'd got to over 12 cycles TTC. I was doing my head in. But, I think I need to start working on them again as I'm sure it'll be good to have them when we go to the fertility clinic - I'm going to chart CM and try and map cervical position too. Hopefully it'll all help!

I didnt have any obvious symptoms when i was pregnant with my son nor with my last MC not even sore boobs so there is hope!
I heard that the months following that kind of surgery is your most fertile time because (if you may..) it has been "freshly prepared" so still more hope

Really? Didn't you?

I know that I'm supposed to be quite fertile now - they did a tubal flush too, and I didn't half bleed, so everythign should be nice and cheerful in there for a pregnancy now! I'm pretty much sticking my fingers in my ears when anyone says that they, or someone they know, fell pg after the surgery! Plus, of course, everyone else has fallen pg this month - I don't know if the June pregnancy thread can handle the volume if anyone else joins!    Still ...it'd be a nice reason for OHbaby to crash ...

I guess that's the curse of the 2WW ...the waiting!!

hehehe! we'll have to start a 'due in july' thread

Yeah i dont remember every little detail about when i was pregnant withmy son (it was 3 years ago!!) but i do remember the stuff like - i just randomly did a test because i was about to go stop car driving and just ha a feeling that i should test (and we wernt even trying!) and it came possitive!! turns out i was 5 weeks pregnant!! i was waiting and waiting for the sore boobs etc but all i got was bad cramps (sooo not normal!!) and put off a few foods but that was after 6 weeks so yip i still have hope when i dont feel symptoms

Im going to buy a test tommorow because my will power is failing me!! lol i know its way early as im only 8 DPO today but it wont hurt either i guess

Keep me posted on your success (quietly.... or not so quietly im very optimistic! lol)

Thanks Baysmum Here's hoping! Or rather ...here's trying not to!

So far today, no AF. I've foolishly (foolish for letting myself think this way) stopped taking my herbs, as they must be stopped asap once pg, as they can be very harmful once you've conceived. I'll just hold off until AF gets here ...it certainly feels like it's about to any second!

For now though - I feel bleh, but am starving! Off to have some morning tea (well, it *is* morning, even if a bit early!!)

Oh, BOLLOCKS!!

I just went to raid my lunch box, and I've forgotten half my lunch! It's the best half too ...Cheese CCs! When you have PMT and all the rest of it, the last thing you want to stuff your face with is an apple and a banana!

I blame the government. It's all their fault.

I also seem to have a bit of a sniffly nose, so I blame the government for that too!

Goodness ...that feels better!

hehehehe!! ginger you crack me up!!!!! just think - your apple and banana is good for your hopefully growing bubs
I blame the government for everything too!!!..why not ay!!lol...

Heres hoping that your sniffly nose is a result of your low immune system due to being pregnant!! (yip thats me - Mrs Optimistic!! )

You certainly are an optimistic ...here's hoping you may be onto something!

I am having *such* a silly day ...

I went out to do the mail
...and forgot the mail

Then I got back from doing the mail, and could *not* find the post box keys anywhere. Searched high and low as the key ring also has the office safe key on!!
...and found them safely zipped into my sunglasses case

And last, but by no means least - I just charged a customer for one of something, when he bought 2 and had to chase him down the driveway ...

This is one of those I-should-never-have-got-out-of-bed days!!

Why isn't there a gritted-teeth smiley face ...?

Ug, wouldn't that be the way of it - 17 cycles, and the only one that doesn't feel like anything is amiss ...

I still maintain that AF will be here any minute! Luckily I'm peeing like a trooper, so it doesn't seem too obsessive to be running to the loo to check. I have business to attend to at the same time! (and before you grin at me - I usually pee like a trooper before AF!)

This better not be too long a cycle, or I'll go bonkers!

*Sigh* ...Well, I'll keep y'all posted!

hehehe! you beat me to it as i was about to say "awwww peeing heaps...good sign!! "

Well.....i just did an HPT......and its a very faint possitive!!!!! although before i get too excited - last cycle i had 3 (out of one box) dud! HPTs that were obviously possitive!! (doc even looked at them and confirmed) but a blood test confirmed that my levels were 0! so they were infact duds!!! and as im a sucker for punishment - i went and bought the same brand! but only because this is a tiny town and thats the only brand they sell in the supermarket!!

Im only 9DPO though so hopes are not high yet but still good

Thanks ladies , the test just keeps on darkening up and now its an obvious pink line!! Still not getting my hopes up cos the last ones were pink too but it just feels right because we BDed right on 'O' and iv had ugly AF type cramps yesterday and today (right when implantation should occur) and my temps just took another hick up!! ...look it sounds like im getting excited!! lol

Il take another test with first morning urine in the morning and hopefully its darker although its still really! early! - itl be 10DPO!....oh bugger i feel myself getting excited!! *inhale..exhale!!*

That's really good news Baysmum! Yay for you!!

And don't think about the dud tests - if it was that common an occurance, they'd be off the market! It sounds like you have a parasite on board

hehehe thanks ginger . I did another test this morning with first morning urine and the line came up after 1.5 minutes! and then darkened over the 10 minutes and then i didnt take anything into account after the 10 minutes (as told) so its still faint but obvious to even my bung eyes! and its slightly darker than yesterdays

Still trrying not to get too excited! though *inhale!!....exhale!!*

So any sign of AF??? im really hoping for some good news about your 'parasite' soon

Thanks Baysmum and my2angels

No AF yet ...but I did test yesterday and it was negative. It's what I expected as I have no symptoms other than a really bad day yesterday!

I'm a little hopeful that AF might not be too bad this time as I had a lots of niggling cramps and pains up until a few days ago, and then not a sausage since!

Things do sound really, really good for you though Baysmum! I wonder if you squeeked into the due in June thread, or you get to start a due in July one ...?

Hi ladies,
Iv bought a different brand test to take in the morning just incase it is the brand i used but if all is sweet then il go for bloods because il need to have them done every few days due to previous MCs.
Im feeling really rather pecimistic today because i cant help but think that my test are duds!

Can someone answer me this question?..Is it normal to have alot!! of creamy cervical mucous at this stage in cycle???? (10DPO) because its so bad that i need to wear a liner!!! and im not sure if this is a pregnancy symptom, normal symptom or just before AF symptom???!!.....

How are you doing today ginger???

Posted By: my2angels
Date Posted: 01 November 2006 at 9:08pm
Im pretty sure its normal, from memory (cos it seems so long ago now!) things do increase a bit while things are implanting and all that. Let us know how you get on with your test tomorrow. You know early BFP can also mean twins.... I got my BFP with the twins around the same time

Posted By: miss
Date Posted: 01 November 2006 at 10:02pm
Baysmum - that was a major thing I had!!!!! I kept asking about it on another forum, because it was totally different to my last cycle (I only charted one cycle before the cycle we ttc) and I was getting annoyed with it because everyday of fertility friend I had to enter in the creamy cervical mucus. And I never had it the previous cycle after ovulation.

Someone said that they thought it was because your body makes more to make the mucus plug - and that made sense to me! It died down after a couple of days past when AF was due.

Hi Ladies,
Well i did 2 tests last night and this morning and IM PREGNANT!!!!! YAY!!!
I did the last out of the 3 pk and it came up after 1 minute - a strong pink line only half as strong as the control line but obvious none the less, i dont know why i did it as i was in bed at 10pm and felt the need to get up and do it even though i had bought a different very expensive brand yesterday to do this morning...so anyway i have just gotten up to go and do the other brand test and a minute didnt even pass before the + sign came up in the test window . I didnt actually think that that one would work because it says to use on the first day of you period due date and no earlier but yip i did it and it worked!!!....ok now im babbling!!! lol.

I dont have twins anywhere in my family or hubbys family but it would be really nice if it was twins

Now i have to find a way to get my bloods done because im not staying in the town where my doc is so???...Has any of you ladies heard of ringing a doc up to fax through the bloods forms without actually having to see the doc???

Awesome congrats chicka!!!

PS the creamy CM is most likely the plug starting to build up

Posted By: ginger
Date Posted: 02 November 2006 at 9:00am
That's wonderful Baysmum - congratulations again The CM thing is the plug forming from my reading, so it's a really good sign. Go and get your bloods done, and get yourself over to the pregnancy thread! But, you must pop back to say hello, or I'll get lonely!

AF arrived for me yesterday, so my 2WW is over as well. Not quite with the same result as yours ...but over nonetheless!

Ginger I hope you do get pregnant soon.

Baysmum, how exciting! Congratulations! In Palmy they don't do any routine bloods until about the end of the first trimester, I guess it's different from place to place but at least there's no urgency. But try calling the Nurse and see what happens?
