Just wanting to hear from anyone who has donated eggs...

My hubby is rather against me doing this as he would consider if as me having another baby. And he said that if the baby came looking for me, he'd feel like he was excluded from a big chunk of my like, and Evie's as it'd be her half-sibling.

I don't see it this way at all...

Thoughts??

its a hard one as hubby really needs to be on board, my DH isnt very supportive of me doing it either but has agreed at least to discuss it when i am actually able to do it (once i have had this baby lol) My DH's reasons are more about me having to take the hormones and travel an hour up the road to CHCH to get any procedures done im hoping to change his mind tho as it is something i really want to do as i have been extrmemly lucky to have three easy pregnancy's and healthy little girls

Ive donated twice before I decided to have kids myself, the first time I did it,I had a partner, he didnt like the 'procedure' injecting, hormones etc, once we broke up I was off like a shot to the clinic to do it again

Its invasive and can be uncomfortable but the idea that you are helping a well deserving couple achieve their dream of having a child, for me outweighed anything else.

My daughter and soon to be son have technically 4 genetic brothers out there as each couple had twin boys I dont see them as 'my kids' they just have some of my genes

My ideal world would have been 3 of my own kids, much earlier of course lol, egg donor and surrogate
