Hi All,

So I recently ordered myself the Mothercare MyChoice 3 Pram from the Mothercare Sylvia Park Branch. This pram is NZ/ Australian compliant. I was also told that the Maxi Cosi capsules fit onto the pram but also recently found out that Maxi Cosi are releasing NZ/ Australian complaint car seats as currently they are only European compliant (i.e. on Trade Me). I have my eye on a few of these European Maxi Cosi Capsules on trade me but no one can tell me if they will fit on my NZ/ Aus compliant stroller.

Has anybody got this pram (in NZ/ Aus compliant) and know if the European Maxi Cosi's fit? OR even better, can anyone tell me if other brand of capsules fit because preferably we would like to hire our carseats from Plunket as it just seems to be the more cost-effective method than buying them. There is no way we can afford a brand new Maxi Cosi capsule at $400-500.

Look forward to hearing from you

I've got a My Choice 4 (purchased in Europe) and I can see no difference between the NZ ones and mine. I can double check on Friday as I'd planned a visit there.

No worries at all! I am thinking of either just buying the capsule I have my eye on or just hire and face having to wake a sleeping baby to put it in its pram haha

It's preferable not to leave them in there capsules too long anyway. It's not good for their breathing apparently :-)

Yeah thats what a lady who fits car seats for Plunket told me :) I just thought it could be good for short trips but it's not necessary either :)

Alright, been to Mothercare and I can see no difference at all with the part of the pram where the seat / capsule attaches. I decided to ask the lady there what the differences between my European pram and the local version are and she said it was a minor change to the 5 point seatbelt, so I guess the TM capsules should work fine. I did find it weird though that their prams are maxi-cosi compatible but they don't sell maxi-cosi.
